Jackie
Seaton is one of Ontario's few remaining saltglaze
potters. His studio is located in a century-old former
general store. The outbuildings and abundant gardens provide a perfect
setting for the sturdy utilitarian stoneware
he has consistently produced over the last
25 years. The emphasis is on kitchenware but you are just as likely
to find anything from bird feeders to bathroom
wash basins. Jackie has been a member of the cooperative since it's inception. His reputation as a fine potter is a reflection of his dedication to function and design.
